PROJECT: ACADEMIC CONFERENCE 2009
CLIENT: CANCER INSTITUTE OF NEW JERSEY
April 15, 2009
SP Studios was contracted by the CANCER INSTITUTE OF NEW JERSEY (CINJ) to develop, design, and produce various materials for the 2009 Governor’s Conference. In addition to this 20-page, color program booklet – with speaker bios, conference summary, and schedule – SP Studios developed, programmed, and produced a companion interactive CDROM for distribution, that included footage of each presentation. We also designed and produced: on-site signage, name tags, dinner menus, and more.

SP Studios was contracted by the CANCER INSTITUTE OF NEW JERSEY (CINJ) to develop, design, and produce various materials for the 2009 Governor’s Conference. SP Studios was contracted by FENDI to design and produce the visual elements for an exhibit and live Auction – including these blind embossed, metallic-silver adhesive stickers. SP Studios also designed and produced the invitations, exhibit labels and bid sheets for the event. PROJECT: SPECIAL EVENTS - 75th ANNIVERSARY (2005)
CLIENT: INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED STUDY

SP STUDIOS designed and produced a series of invitation packages (invitation, reply cards, outer and reply envelopes) for each of the schools at the renowned Institute for Advanced Study to celebrate the Institute’s 75th Anniversary. Creating original photography of the campus, and digitizing the 1930s sculptural-relief medallion (created in 1930 by Pierre Turin), SP Studios used iconic imagery, unique asymetric tri-panel design-form, and metallic inks to code each school and their invitation and program materials - blue for mathematics, orange/copper for historical studies, green for natural science, etc. The Mathematics event was so successful, it garnered a cover-article in “Notices of the American Mathematical Society” in which the event invitation was reproduced (p.859) – and an additional mention specifically calling out the event branding and visuals and applauding it’s cohesive design (p.840).

PROJECT: PLANNED GIVING
CLIENT: INTERNATIONAL HOUSE
SP Studios was hired by INTERNATIONAL HOUSE (NYC) to design their planned giving marketing materials and the development of the ‘Harry Edmonds Society’ – a new giving group focused on planned giving and bequests. SP Studios provided the design concept, digital photography, digital imaging, project management, layout, production, and pre-press and print management for this 36-page (+fly-sheet) color, perfect-bound booklet. In addition, NYC digital artist Scott A. Park, founder of SP Studios, shot original imagery for the front and back covers.
