PROJECT: PHOTO IMAGE ILLUSTRATION
CLIENT: LOUIS VUITTON
SP Studios was contracted by LOUIS VUITTON MOËT HENNESSY (LVMH) each year from 1996-2000 to design and create the visual design elements for the Louis Vuitton Classic at Rockefeller Center. We provided the design concept, digital imaging, photo retouching, project management, layout, production, and digital-illustration for multiple projects – banners, flags, exhibit signage, special event invitations, programs, posters, displays, press kits, etc. – including creating these iconic images of a classic car (digitally) painted in the famed Louis Vuitton Monogram pattern. The images were published internationally.

Photo Illustration and Event Marketing Series
PROJECT: PHOTO ILLUSTRATION
CLIENT: CHRISTIAN DIOR
SP Studios was contracted by CHRISTIAN DIOR to help promote their brand through intimate, invitation-only trunk shows across the United States. We conceived and produced a series of images based on Dior’s current advertising studio-stills. By digitally illustrating from the existing advertising images and out-takes – and adding site-specifit content and visuals with location specific backgrounds (ie: snow for Aspen, volcano for Hawaii, ‘Hollywood’ sign for LA, skyline for NYC) – we created a successful extension of the recognizable brand image – a familiar look-and-feel – while still making each special-event read as ‘custom’. We also designed and produced each of the printed invitations. At several events, Dior and Louis Vuitton North America partnered and co-marketed the trunk show events.

PROJECT: IMAGE RETOUCHING
CLIENT: TIFFANY & CO
SP Studios was contracted by TIFFANY & CO to retouch 100+ digital images for a special publication entitled Tiffany’s 20th Century: A Portrait of American Style by John Loring. We scanned, color-corrected, retouched and digitally cleaned and balanced images – from the early 1940′s through modern collection – from TIFFANY’s archival collection of jewelry, product, and advertising images. Digitally retouching, color correcting and enhancing this iconic photograph of Audrey Hepburn for the cover was a highlight.

PROJECT: SOFTWARE INTERFACE DESIGN
CLIENT: ADP
SP Studios was contracted by AUTOMATIC DATA PROCESSING, Inc. (ADP) to develop and design the look-and-feel of the computer interface log-in and splash screens for their leading Wholesale Distribution Services software. SP Studios provided the concept, design, illustration, and production and managed the project – and supplied screen designs as well as some custom interface iconography.

CLIENT: AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY
The holiday season before the AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY (AMNH) opened it’s long-awaited renovation of their famed Dinosaur Halls, SP Studios’ founder (Scott A. Park) created the concept and illustrations for this holiday card. It was sent to all AMNH patrons, members, staff, and friends.
